Welcome back to Life On My Plate’s new monthly series – Friday Favourites!
A collection of some of my favourite reads from around the web; articles that caught my fancy and posts I really enjoyed reading in the month of June!
Adelina gets it bang on when she says “You can’t go to New York City and not eat well.” This photo essay of all the goodies she had gorged on while visiting The Big Apple brought back a whole lot of gastronomic memories from when I was gallivanting all over the city last year, eating everything in sight! Because New York will make you do that!
Off-late, New Zealand has really caught my fancy, and I love everything I read about it! Just look at the photos in this post. And you’re right Laia, those colours and those landscapes really don’t look real!! And the train journey seemed like the perfect little introduction to this gorgeous land!
And if you thought New Zealand is pretty, take a look at the photos in this post from Bora Bora. A perfect honeymoon destination, but sadly WA-AY out of my budget. I DEFINITELY enjoyed Mary’s virtual tour, and hope I can visit too one day…! A milestone anniversary perhaps!!!
My blogger friend and co-host of the new monthly #BlogAlong link-up party, Pooja was holidaying in Greece and Turkey last month. All her Instagram and Facebook updates on Istanbul brought back wonderful memories of my own time spent there, and her updates from Greece sparked some major wander-envy in me. I would love to get lost in the streets of Mykonos like Pooja!
There was a super-fun travel link-up last month themed around Souvenirs. I wrote about my collection here, and had great fun reading all the other posts on the topic from the bloggers that linked-up. This one, by Frankie, was my favourite 😛
